The Macro funtion on your camer focuses on your emphesis so people know that, that's the emphesis.The depth of field is when your emphesis is in focus and the background kind of fades away.
Macro should be used when you want your emphesis to stand out.why because you want people to know what your emphesis is.
The best photo that I like is the one with the flowers because the flowers are pretty and they stand out more.
