Metering make what ever you focus your camer on be in focus. like the first picture im in focus but the computer screen is way to bright to see any thing, and the second picture the computer is the focus and im not so everything thaat is around the computer is dark. spot metering can help me in the future by if Im some where, where I need something to be more empheised then everything else then i'll use spot metering.
